Ingredients
  

  • 450 g ground beef
  • 60 g dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 60 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices streaky bacon
  • 60 ml BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking tray with parchment.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until combined.
  • Portion the mixture and press cheddar into the center, shaping into meatballs.
  • Wrap each meatball with a slice of bacon, seam side down.
  • Arrange on tray and brush lightly with BBQ sauce.
  • Bake 25–30 minutes, until bacon is crisp and meat cooked through.
  • Brush with extra BBQ sauce before serving.

Notes

Tip: Chill cheese cubes before stuffing to prevent leaks. Variation: Swap cheddar for pepper jack for a spicy twist on classic cheddar stuffed BBQ bacon bombs.
