Ingredients
  

Sauce Base

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream room temperature

Chicken & Finish

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast thinly sliced

Instructions
 

Sauce Base

  • Melt butter over medium heat, then pour in heavy cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes, stirring until slightly thickened; season lightly with salt and pepper.
    2 tbsp unsalted butter, 1 cup heavy cream

Chicken & Finish

  • Sauté chicken until cooked through, then fold into the sauce. Toss with hot pasta or serve over noodles; rest 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Stir in 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan and 2 cloves minced garlic after the cream simmers; whisk until glossy. Thin with pasta water as needed.
