Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 5 large 12-inch flour tortillas
  • 1/3 cup nacho cheese or queso
  • 4 tostada shells or 1 cup tortilla chips
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 4 tsp vegetable oil
  • Hot sauce for serving

Instructions

  • Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium. Brown the beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Cut 1 tortilla into quarters and set aside to use as topper pieces.
  • On a whole tortilla, layer nacho cheese, beef, a tostada, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, and a tortilla quarter on top.
  • Fold the edges inward to form a sealed hexagon. Flip seam-side down.
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook Crunchwrap seam-side down for 2 minutes until golden.
  • Flip and cook the other side until crisp, about 2 minutes more.
  • Repeat for the remaining wraps. Serve warm with hot sauce.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce inside the wrap. Want a meatless version? Swap beef with black beans. This Copycat Crunchwrap Supreme is easy to customize!
