Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 3 pounds fresh Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with foil.
  • Lay bacon slices in a single layer and bake for 14 minutes or until crispy. Set aside to cool.
  • Increase oven temperature to 425°F. Trim Brussels sprouts, slice in half, and discard loose leaves.
  • In a bowl, whisk olive oil, honey, Dijon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss the sprouts in the glaze until evenly coated.
  • Remove bacon from the pan and place sprouts on the same sheet with leftover grease.
  • Roast for 20 minutes, then raise oven to 475°F and roast 10 more minutes.
  • Chop bacon, mix with roasted sprouts, season to taste, and serve warm.

Notes
