- 1 tsp allspice berries tie in cheesecloth sachet

- 1 slice fresh ginger thinly sliced
Make the Cider
- Nestle apple cider, apple juice, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves and allspice berries into a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, until the liquid is softly bubbling and aroma is rich.
- Stir in brown sugar, orange slices and ginger; cover and cook 1 more hour for deeper flavor.
- Use tongs to fish out cinnamon sticks and sachet, then strain through a fine mesh. Keep warm and serve.
Tie cloves and allspice in a cheesecloth sachet for effortless removal without unexpected bites.
Store cooled cider in the refrigerator for up to 5 days; reheating on LOW enhances spice infusion and flavor depth. Keyword Crockpot Apple Cider, Holiday Drink, Mulled Cider, slow cooker, Warm Beverage
