- 3 –4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (can be frozen)
- 1 18 oz bottle of BBQ sauce (any flavor you prefer)
- 1 20 oz can of pineapple chunks, drained
Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of your crockpot.
Pour the drained pineapple chunks over the chicken evenly.
Add the entire bottle of BBQ sauce on top—no need to stir.
Cover and cook on high for 2–3 hours or low for 4–6 hours.
Check that chicken is cooked through and tender.
Optionally shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and mix with the sauce.
Let it sit uncovered for 10–15 minutes to thicken slightly.
Serve your Crockpot Pineapple BBQ Chicken over rice, baked potatoes, or on sandwich buns.
For a saucier result, use crushed pineapple instead of chunks. Crockpot Pineapple BBQ Chicken also makes great leftovers—try it in tacos or sliders.
