Ingredients
  

Dough:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups warm water 110°F
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

Topping:

  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt
  • ½ tsp coarse black pepper
  • ¼ cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • 2 tbsp pitted olives, sliced (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and olive oil. Add yeast mixture and stir to form a dough.
  • Knead dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  • Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour until doubled.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Stretch dough into an oiled 9x13-inch pan, dimpling with fingers.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle rosemary, sea salt, pepper, and optional toppings.
  • Bake your focaccia recipe for 20–25 minutes until golden and crisp.

Notes

For the best focaccia recipe, use high-quality olive oil for richer flavor. Variation: Add minced garlic and Parmesan for a cheesy twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
