  • 1 lb whole carrots washed, peeled, sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation

  • Wash, peel, and slice the carrots diagonally into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Cooking

  • Add the carrots and water to a large skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat for 5-6 minutes or until the carrots start to soften.
  • Remove the lid and add butter, brown sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon. Stir until melted and cook for 7-8 minutes until glazed.
