- 2 large Boneless chicken breasts Marinate for extra flavor
- 4 large Tortilla wraps Choose flour, whole wheat, or spinach
- 1 cup Fresh lettuce/spinach Adds crunch and freshness
- 1 large diced Tomatoes Optional but adds juiciness
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese
- Sauce As desired Ranch, BBQ, or cilantro lime crema
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Marinate the chicken breasts with 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, juice of 1 lime, salt, and pepper.
Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor.
Grill the chicken on medium-high heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Once cooked, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.
Step 2: Prepare the Ingredients
While the chicken is grilling, chop your vegetables. Dice the tomato, slice the lettuce or spinach, and shred the cheese.
Prepare your sauce of choice (ranch, BBQ, or cilantro lime crema).
Step 3: Assemble the Wrap
Warm the tortillas slightly in a pan to make them easier to roll.
Lay out each tortilla and spread your desired sauce in the center.
Layer the ingredients in this order: sauce → sliced grilled chicken → veggies → shredded cheese.
Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it tightly using the "fold and tuck" method.
Step 4: Toast the Wrap
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.
Place the assembled wraps in the pan and grill each side for 2 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- For Extra Flavor: Try marinating the chicken overnight for a more intense flavor.
- Vegetable Options: Feel free to add or substitute other vegetables like cucumbers, onions, or avocados.
- Sauce Choices: You can mix up the sauces to suit your taste. Try spicy mayo for a kick or Caesar dressing for a creamy, rich wrap.
