Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 240 g
  • 1 tsp salt 6 g
  • 2/3 cup water 160 ml
  • 1/3 cup olive oil 80 ml

Optional Flavor Suggestions:

  • Garlic & Thyme: 1 tsp garlic powder + 2 tsp dried thyme
  • Everything: 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
  • Honey Chipotle: 1 tbsp honey + 2 tsp ground chipotle pepper
  • Onion & Black Pepper: 1 tsp onion powder + 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and any dry seasonings.
  • Add water and olive oil. If making honey chipotle crackers, add honey now. Stir until dough forms.
  • Fold dough with your hands to mix evenly, then divide into four portions.
  • Roll one portion at a time on parchment or silicone mat, less than 1/8 inch thick.
  • Cut into desired shapes with a knife or pizza cutter.
  • Transfer parchment or mat to a baking sheet.
  • Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown, then cool on pan until crisp.

Notes

For perfectly crisp homemade crackers, roll dough very thin and evenly. Try adding sesame seeds or rosemary for extra flavor.
