Carrots

  • 1 pound carrots peeled and sliced

Butter and Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon herbs fresh or dried (thyme or parsley optional)

  • Peel and slice the carrots into even rounds.

  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  • Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the carrots and sauté until tender, about 8-10 minutes.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, soak the carrots in cold water for 30 minutes before slicing. This enhances their sweetness and crunch. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat to retain their delicious texture.
