Chicken Breasts

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts can substitute with thighs

Marinade

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for marinating
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice best with fresh lemons
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked preferred

Preparation

  • Combine olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper in a bowl. Marinate chicken for at least 15 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and brown the chicken, about 5-7 minutes each side until cooked through.
  • Allow the chicken to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Consider brining the chicken for extra moisture. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
