- 1 lb ground beef 80/20
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp steak seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 oz baby bella mushrooms sliced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 brioche burger buns
- Optional: caramelized onions burger sauce, lettuce
In a bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, and steak seasoning. Form into 4 equal-sized patties.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and butter. Sauté mushrooms for 8 minutes, then add garlic, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Cook 2 more minutes until soft and browned.
In a separate pan (or same skillet), cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side over medium-high heat.
In the final minute, top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese. Cover to melt.
Toast brioche buns cut-side down until golden brown.
Assemble: bun, patty with cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and any optional toppings.
