  • 4 pieces chicken pieces bone-in, skin-on recommended
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for coating chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder for seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika adds color and flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Pat the chicken pieces dry and coat them with olive oil.

  • Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken. Toss until evenly coated.

  • Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 35-45 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, broil for the last 2-3 minutes. If you have time, marinating the chicken beforehand enhances the flavor.
