Ingredients
  

Chicken:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Breading:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter divided

Sauce:

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Pound chicken to 1-inch thickness for even cooking.
  • In one bowl, place flour. In another, combine Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge chicken in flour, then press into Parmesan mixture to coat.
  • Melt 1/4 cup butter in skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 5–7 mins per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In same skillet, melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  • Add heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top, and simmer 1 minute.
  • Plate and drizzle with extra sauce to serve.

Notes

For the crispiest crust, use freshly grated Parmesan. To switch things up, try adding sautéed spinach or mushrooms to the garlic sauce. This Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce is easily customizable!
