Ingredients
  

  • Garlic Butter Spread:
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • For Assembly:
  • 8 slices white bread
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 6 oz pepperoni slices
  • ½ cup warm pizza sauce for dipping
  • ½ cup sliced black olives optional
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  • Spread garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.
  • Place a bread slice butter-side down in a skillet over medium-low.
  • Layer 1 mozzarella slice, 6 pepperoni, another mozzarella, 6 more pepperoni, and a final mozzarella slice.
  • Top with another bread slice, butter-side up.
  • Cover skillet; cook 3–5 minutes until golden.
  • Flip, cover, and cook 3–5 minutes more until cheese melts.
  • Serve pizza grilled cheese sandwiches with warm pizza sauce.

Notes

Use a lid to melt cheese faster without burning bread. For a veggie twist, swap pepperoni for olives and peppers in your pizza grilled cheese sandwiches.
