Ingredients
  

Batter:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Topping:

  • 4 ripe bananas sliced
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

For Serving (Optional):

  • Vanilla ice cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour batter evenly into the prepared dish.
  • Arrange banana slices on top of the batter.
  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the bananas.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool slightly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

Tip: Use very ripe bananas for extra sweetness and flavor.
