Ingredients
  

Fruit Mixture

  • 8 cups apples peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 3 cups strawberries chopped
  • 0.5 cup water

To Taste

  • 0.25 cup sugar add more if needed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

Cook Fruit

  • Add apples, strawberries, and water to a large pot and stir to combine.
    0.5 cup water
  • Cover and cook over medium heat for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is very soft.

Blend and Finish

  • Blend until smooth and return to the pot. Stir in sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Adjust to taste.
