  • 4 whole bell peppers any color
  • 1 lb ground meat beef or turkey
  • 1 cup cooked rice white or brown
  • 1 cup tomato sauce divided

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the bell peppers by cutting off the tops and removing the seeds.

  • In a skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink, then stir in the rice and half of the tomato sauce.

  • Generously fill each pepper with the meat mixture, place them upright in a baking dish, and top with remaining tomato sauce.
