French Fry Seasoning:
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Nacho Cheese Sauce:
- 1 tbsp salted butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 8 oz American cheese
- 1 tbsp Tabasco jalapeño sauce or jalapeño juice
Fries:
- 1 lb Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Fast Food Fries frozen
- Vegetable oil for frying
Combine all spices for the French fry seasoning in a bowl or spice grinder until finely mixed. Set aside.
In a small saucepan, heat butter, milk, American cheese, and jalapeño sauce over low. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
Fill a deep pot with 4 inches of vegetable oil. Heat to 350°F.
Fry frozen fries in batches for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy.
Drain fries on a wire rack placed over a baking sheet.
While fries are hot, sprinkle generously with seasoning blend.
Serve fries hot with a small bowl of warm nacho cheese sauce.
Optional: Garnish with scallions or jalapeños for added flavor.
For extra crisp fries, fry in small batches and keep oil hot. You can air fry instead for a lighter version of these Taco Bell Nacho Fries.
